2009 Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster Spotted i Canary Island
It was in 1999 when Mercedes-Benz has presented its “Vision SLR” superscar concepts. One is a convertible while the other had a roof. Vision SLR coupe eventually was developed and became insanely fast and highly priced SLR McLaren sports car built in collaboration with McLaren Cars. Now after four years in its product cycle, Mercedes-Benz and McLaren are planning of giving their SLR Coupé one droptop playmate who will be called the SLR McLaren Roadster.
Spotted in the Canary Islands on a photo shoot reveals SLR McLaren Roadster prototype, which will spawn one of only a handful of drop-tops that would break the 200 mph barrier and will hopefully be one of the fastest Drooping Brome car ever sold in this country a major manufacturer when it reached our shores next year as 2009 model year first car buying.
